Why This Matters
Fusion Centers were originally created to prevent terrorism, yet they’ve become a huge vehicle
for mass surveillance. They collect billions of data points from local agencies, including schools, utilities, and law enforcement. This data—meant for protecting communities—has been weaponized against non-citizens and marginalized groups under the guise of public safety.
The Role You Can Play
We can’t break down this complex web of surveillance without more hands-on deck.
That’s why we’re calling for dedicated volunteers to join our research team. Together, we can expose the scale of this issue and demand accountability.
