Did you know? When you fill up at Chevron or its subsidiary, AMPM, you could be funding ICE operations that terrorize immigrant communities and tear families apart.
Here’s how:
- ICE agents use government-issued “SmartPay” debit cards for fuel and vehicle maintenance at these stations.
- Chevron and its parent company, BP (which owns AMPM), hold massive contracts with the Department of Defense. These contracts supply fuel for military bases where deportation flights originate.
These companies profit directly from contracts that enable the detention and deportation of people from our communities. We have the power to stop this.
Your choice at the pump matters. Let’s hit them where it hurts: their profits.
TAKE ACTION NOW:
- BOYCOTT CHEVRON & AMPM. Do not buy their gas. Do not shop in their stores.
- SHARE THIS POST. Spread the word to your friends, family, and community.
- DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY. Tell these corporations to stop profiting from hate and fear.
We say NO to corporate complicity. We say NO to funding family separation.

Chevron and British Petroleum Fuel Military bases where many deportation flights depart from.
Chevron doesn’t just make its money selling gas at the pump. The company has long depended on government subsidies, tax breaks, and direct contracts.
Through massive contracts with the Department of Defense, Chevron supplies aviation and petroleum fuel that doesn’t just power military operations — it also indirectly powers ICE deportation flights.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement uses the Defense Logistics fuel contracts to run planes that separate families and deport people from the U.S. They also contract with Visa to provide “SmartPay” debit cards that can be used at AMPM/ BP Petroleum, Chevron and others.
As of March 31, 2025, Chevron’s total assets were approximately $256.4 billion, (https://companiesmarketcap.com/chevron/total-assets/)
